Unique Historical Database: “Victims of the Polish-Ukrainian Conflict, 1939–1947”

On 8 September, the historical and geographical software infrastructure “Victims of the Polish-Ukrainian Conflict, 1939–1947” was presented as part of an initiative by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make publicly available archival documents concerning the history of Ukrainian-Polish relations during the period from 1939 to 1947.

The infrastructure forms part of the research project “Victims of the Polish-Ukrainian Conflict, 1939–1947,” initiated by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. It contains documents from Ukraine’s central, regional, and sectoral archival institutions.
