They Didn’t Scream Because They Couldn’t | Gallaudet University

He entered the rooms of the deaf and robbed them. He hoped that he would not be heard, and the crime would not be solved. Between 2000 and 2001, two students were murdered inside Gallaudet University — the world’s most famous university for deaf students. Both killings happened in the same dormitory, just months apart. While the campus lived in fear, the killer stayed close to everyone: attending classes, speaking with investigators, and even comforting the victims’ families.

One of the most disturbing campus murder cases in modern true crime history.
