BEING A MARINE IS A CHOICE

For a Marine, the beret is more than just a piece of uniform; it is a symbol of belonging to the elite and a great brotherhood. This right is not granted for rank or years of service—it is earned through sweat, blood, or by overcoming the psychological obstacle course. This year, the warriors of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade once again proved their dedication by passing one of the toughest tests in their lives.

This six-hour, 13-kilometer trial was a true test of spirit and the ability to keep moving forward despite fatigue, pain, and mud. Every kilometer of the route required not only physical endurance but also teamwork, with brothers and sisters-in-arms overcoming obstacles side-by-side. This is a story of victory over one's own fears and a testament to a steel spirit that does not break even under the hardest trials.

We congratulate everyone who has honorably completed this path and earned the right to wear the storm beret! You have proven that you are worthy of this symbol and now know the true price of your endurance. Thank you for your service, your resilience, and your choice to be the best. Wear it with honor! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Marine Corps!
